New Releases: Prototypes
I’m releasing a series of single “prototypes” (more than a demo, but perhaps not quite the final product) that will be distributed everywhere, but might later be updated (e.g., with the help of a good mixing engineer) for inclusion on an upcoming album. You can stream these at all the usual places, but songs are first posted to Bandcamp, where you’ll so far find:
-The Shadows Have Thinned, The Sins Are Mostly Forgiven
-Hell Is A Bore (varispeed)
-Listen… A Door
-Angry Bebop: Haunted Mouths
-Shadowbread
-Minds of Children: Confetti
-Kid Candy and the Crowns
-Hey Interlude
-Fireworks Interlude #1
-Seed (Of Garnet)
-Minds of Children
Listen to, read about, and download those songs at Bandcamp. And keep an eye on my social media accounts for video clips.
Listen also at the usual streaming platforms, including Apple Music, Spotify, and Amazon. (The first song on the above list is not yet be available at those places.)

“Varied songs such as the sweeping, orchestral 'Go Away,' Django Reinhardt-inspired 'Morceau,' and piano-driven 'Fever' ensure the LP is another unqualified winner.”

“Reattachment reveals Wallace’s brilliance as a rock composer and instrumentalist as well as his gift for writing and delivering obscure but intriguing lyrics.”
– The Phantom Tollbooth

“Put simply, Culture of Self is about daring to be different, and the magic that comes when you do. Even if it were only half as good as it is, it should be treasured for its originality alone.”
– Americana UK

“There’s definitely something innovative about Neon and Gold. Maybe it’s the neo-psychedelic arrangements, the Alice-in-Wonderland lyrics or the smooth-as-silk delivery. Maybe we should listen again.”
– Performing Songwriter Magazine

“The wacky lo-fi Beatles. Brilliant lyrics imbedded between cool quacking guitars and cooler harmonies.”
